eHistory has thousands of images and hundreds of maps available on the site. These resources, many of them primary sources, are fully searchable. We will be adding more content on an ongoing basis as well to better serve students, teachers and enthusiasts of history.
eHistory began as a Civil War site, and the current collection of maps and images are mostly from the U.S. Civil War, World War II, and Vietnam. We will be adding new images and maps in order to round out the collection.
Key&Pad is a Web Audio experiment, combining a keyboard-controlled synthesizer with a mouse-controlled X/Y Pad (eg. Kaoss Pad).
There are a few things you'll need:
Hardware
A physical keyboard, as well as a trackpad or mouse.
Sound
This won't be very interesting without headphones or speakers.
Creativity
Try crazy things, make weird noises. The world is your oyster!

Data Collection
While building Key&Pad, I anticipated that people would make really great music with it. I didn't want to miss all the creative things users would do with my web app!
I decided to build an accompanying tool that would capture user sessions, in an anonymized and secure way, so that I could hear what gets made.
No audio is recorded. Instead, I record the sequence of actions. To replay the session, I can just run the sequence of actions through the application, and re-create it on-the-fly.
